Creative writing

Let’s Write a Soap Opera!…  And let’s stop chuckling right now, to consider, seriously, what is involved here.  Writing a successful ‘soap opera’ requires imagination – to explore and highlight the whole spectrum of human activity; dialogue – to convey the personalities of the characters and what makes them tick – and intriguing storylines with surprising angles that keep up the momentum.    Participating in this creative writing Summer School group is all about having freedom – to indulge your enjoyment for creative writing – to discover your flair for humour, drama, or both – to create your own special character who performs in their own heady sphere – and have a lot of fun along the way.
